Bensalem Shirine

Today, I visited the neighborhood of Fisherman’s Wharf. One of the most touristics neighborhoods of San Francisco.
To go there we took the cable car. It was very cool, because we had a very good visual of all streets, stores and the Bridge. I had never taken or seen something like that before, it’s like an old train with the driver just next to us.
The weather was very good, so we walked for a while and of where we were in front of the sea we had an awesome visual of the Island of Alcatraz. By the way I hope I will see this island in more details. We saw the sea lions at pier 39, this was very funny.
At the end of our visits we went to the in-and-out to eat their famous burger that had been recommended by our guide yesterday.
It was a really nice day.

A little about me

Hi, My name is Shirine and I am 19 years old. I live in France near Paris.
Now, I’m in my second year in EBS Paris, one of the leading French international business schools. My course of study includes (English, Marketing, Economy, Statistics, Law...).
I’m currently searching for an internship in finance for 20 weeks. I’m motivated, dynamic and organized.
The Digital Expedition Month
Its march 2018, it has been 3 weeks since I arrived in San Francisco.
Thanks to my school and the group INSEEC, I had the opportunity to have courses like coding, digital marketing and growth hacking, lean startup, and of course improve my English.
I learned a lot here but not only in my study classes. In fact, we discussed about the American mindset and also the mindset of Silicon Valley.
We visited Silicon Valley. We’ve seen the Computer History Museum, Apple and Google. It was very interesting to see the difference between Apple and Google. At Apple the design is very clean while Google is more childish with the colors and the huge figurines.
By the way they have really cool bikes because when you work at Google you get around by bike even in a sort of bike for 8 people to play volley-ball games during the break. That’s crazy.
I love the city of San Francisco, mostly for the neighborhoods, which are very beautiful and very different from each other. You have a lot of things to discover like Fisherman’s Wharf, Haight-Ashbury, The Castro, Alcatraz Island, the Golden Gate Bridge and more!
I really loved travelling, discovering new countries and people, and San Francisco was one of my best trips.
